Poseidón, también conocido como Neptuno, fue el Dios del mar, los terremotos y las tormentas, y hermano de Zeus. Poseidón fue asesinado por su sobrino Ares junto con los demás Dioses Olímpicos.

Ayudando a los Atlanteanos[]

Poseidón fue uno de los hermanos de Zeus, nombrado gobernante del mar, los terremotos y los caballos. Dado que Grecia resultó ser una nación con muchas costas e islas habitadas, Poseidón se convirtió en una figura prominente en la vida cotidiana de Grecia. Como consecuencia, Poseidón se convirtió en el dios principal de la ciudad de Corinto, donde se le rezaba para que sus barcos llegaran a un viaje seguro, incluso sacrificando caballos en su honor.[1]

Cuando el hijo de Zeus, Ares, expresó sus puntos de vista extremistas y su odio hacia la humanidad, tanto los Dioses Olímpicos y Poseidón se negaron a escucharlo, despreciándolo por sus opiniones. Por lo tanto, Ares se rebeló violentamente contra su familia, enfrentando en batalla a todos los Dioses en el Monte Olimpo, resultando el asesinato de Poseidón y los demás Dioses.[3]
